Fairfield – The Jewish Home in Fairfield has been named one of the Best Nursing Homes in the U.S. News & World Report Best Nursing Homes Rankings for 2014.   According to the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), about 60 percent of individuals over 65 years old will require some type of long term care services during their lifetime.  More than 40 percent will receive care in a nursing home at some point. Grasmere by the Sea Adult Day Program located at One Post Road, Fairfield will now also be conducting tours in the evenings and on Saturdays by appointment. Tours are always available during center hours from 7:30 am-5 pm daily.
